Meet and Greet with the President of the UAE

On the occasion of World Teachers' Day, the President of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, honored select teachers from across the country at a meet and greet function at his Majlis - The Al Bahr Palace. From a very strong and competitive pool of teachers from all over the UAE, we are proud that two teachers from The Indian High Group of Schools were nominated to attend this prestigious event. Ms. Malathy Mansingh, Associate Dean of Technology & Innovation, Oud Metha campus and Dr. Abhilasha Chaube, Activity Supervisor Oud Metha campus were selected for this honor, based on their contributions matching the criteria of excellence in promoting and developing UAE culture, building parental partnerships with the school as well as innovative & creative use of technology.

Addressing teachers on the occasion, The President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, urged teachers to ensure all students received their care and support in equal measure. He emphasized the need for a quality education as the basis of a successful personal life and growth of a community. He appealed to teachers to fulfill their duties as guiding stars in a student’s life by providing young learners with knowledge and direction. He praised the role expat teachers continue to play in shaping the future of the UAE.
