The Indian High Group of Schools defends its record at the First LEGO League Regional Competition, Dubai Region

The Indian High Group of Schools once again made its mark at the First LEGO League Regional Competition in the Dubai region, held on Saturday, 24th January, 2026.

The First LEGO League (FLL) is an international STEM competition where learners design and program LEGO robots, develop innovative solutions to real-world problems, and demonstrate teamwork and creativity.

Five teams from The Indian High Group of Schools participated in the competition, and three teams emerged as award winners, delivering an outstanding performance against teams from 30+ schools in the Dubai region.

  • Team Core Explorers (DSO campus) won the Overall champions runner-up award and the runner-up award in the robot game.
  • Team Tera Techs (Oud Metha campus) received the Best innovation project award.
  • Team Flagship Finders (Oud Metha campus) earned the Core values award.

All three teams have qualified for the national round, reinforcing The Indian High Group of Schools’ consistent success in the First LEGO League competition.
