Racing Towards Excellence: IHS Oud Metha Shines at STEM Racing UAE National Finals 2026

The Indian High School, Oud Metha proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its teams at the STEM Racing UAE National Finals 2026, held by ADNOC Yas in Schools on 27^th June, 2026. The national finals featured rigorous online evaluations, including car race assessments, portfolio judging, and verbal presentations.

Competing in the Professional Class, Team Ignis Andromeda represented the school with excellence and won the prestigious Project Management Award. The team comprised Rahi Jain (Project Manager, grade 11 Science C), Aashika Singh (Resource Manager, grade 11 Science C), Priyal Tyagi (Graphic Designer, grade 11 Science C), Bhavya Sharma (Manufacturing Engineer, grade 10 G), Nandana Sandeep (Design Engineer, grade 10 A) and Mariya Abbas (Sponsorship and Marketing Manager, grade 11 Arts A). This achievement recognises their exceptional planning, leadership, teamwork and strategic execution throughout the competition.

Adding to the proud moment, Team Sonic Racing, competing in the Development Class, won the prestigious Women in STEM Award. The award-winning team comprised Hibba Fathima Nowfal (Grade 12 Science B), Mayukha Preman Edamadathil (Grade 12 Science A), Emaan Shahin (Grade 12 Science B), Alida Maria Viji John (Grade 12 Science B), Ayisha Hana Faisal (Grade 12 ARTS A) and Nicole Jane Cutinha (Grade 12 Commerce A). Their success reflects outstanding innovation, engineering skills, creativity and commitment to encouraging greater participation of young women in STEM.
