The Indian High School, Dubai won the Best School award in SAI International School Debate Competition
The International Debate Competition was organised by the SAI International School in Bhuvneshwar, India, on 29th January 2022 under the umbrella of the Round Square Programme. Over 49 schools from eight different countries participated in this prestigious event. The Indian High School, Oud Metha Campus contested in two teams, in the senior and junior categories, winning numerous honors and accolades for the school, including "The Best School" award.
In the junior category, Nehan Naseem Ali from grade 7 secured 1st place in Argumentative debate, Ann Mary Joseph from grade 7 secured 2nd place in Extempore, Sharini Suresh from grade 6 secured 2nd place in Turncoat, Muhammad Ali Moula from grade 6 secured 3rd place in Argumentative debate. Based on the team score, The Indian High School, Oud Metha shared its Best School position with SAI International School.
In the senior category, Arshita Lakhani from grade 11 Commerce secured 3rd place in Turncoat and Sharanya Basu from grade 11 Science secured 3rd place in Argumentative debate.
