Holding their heads high and with confident strides, student council leaders of The Indian High School, Oud Metha, Grade 11 & 12 (boys and girls), took their oath to carry out their responsibilities diligently in the esteemed presence of ever encouraging school leaders, proud parents, inspiring teachers and cheering peers at the recently held Investiture Ceremony 2022-2023. Thunderous applause of the audience boosted the morale of our young leaders who were handed school and house flags, symbolising their dedication to the school and the students they represent.

CEO of The Indian High Group of Schools, Punit MK Vasu had a free flowing and constructive interaction with all students and parents. The much-anticipated session rendered an interactive platform to parents and students to raise their concerns which were patiently listened to and clarified. The CEO highlighted the significant role of teachers, leaders and non-teaching colleagues and appreciated their invaluable contribution in ensuring quality teaching and learning continued during the pandemic and post re-opening. He emphasised the importance of students’ well-being and how this was an important consideration in Raahal timings being modified. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, he reiterated the school's commitment to continue to serve every student with a high quality, affordable education and reminded parents and staff why they ought to take pride in being a family member of this great not-for-profit group of schools. Parents expressed their gratitude to the Board of Trustees in maintaining a status quo with fees and expressed relief for not being burdened with any increase in tuition fees. Many present also expressed appreciation on the economical pricing of school textbooks compared to previous years. The session was indeed heart-warming and enlightening and ended with a promise of more to follow.
