Sanjana P.V of The Indian High School, Oud Metha campus brings glory to India

Sanjana P.V, a talented grade 9 student at The Indian High School, Oud Metha campus, brought glory to India and her school by winning a silver a bronze medal in the 58th MILO/MAS Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championship 2023 held from 13th to 16th April 2023 at the National Aquatic Center in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Sanjana competed in the 11 & 12 year old girls category and participated in events such as 50m, 100m, 200m butterfly and 400m freestyle.

Sanjana was selected by the Swimming Federation of India based on her qualifying timings, and she was one of the eight participants proudly representing India. Her impressive performance earned her a silver medal in the 400m freestyle and a bronze medal in the 200m butterfly. She also secured 7th position in the 100m butterfly and 50m butterfly events as well.

The Sports Authority of India (SAI), Khelo India, and KreedOn acknowledged her participation and win in the competition. Sanjana expressed her joy and stated that it was a good experience and that she had learned a lot from this trip. She also mentioned that she would continue to work hard and strive for continued success in the future.
