Small Steps, Big Goals: Shreya Chetan Joshi’s AI-powered path to excellence

Shreya Chetan Joshi, a student of grade 9 at The Indian High School, Oud Metha campus has certainly propelled herself in the right direction by successfully completing a three-month course in the Artificial Intelligence Basic Internship Programme with the University of Oxford. As part of this certification, she worked on developing an adventure game using speech synthesis and speech recognition Artificial Intelligence techniques. Scoring 100% on her project, Shreya also received a letter of recommendation appreciating her skills to achieve the goal of using AI and Machine Learning to provide services to the disabled community, the elderly and the technological novices.
